This Privacy Policy explains how Oak House (Woodbridge) Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the AskToddy mobile app and website (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and password when you create an account. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides your name and an email address (which may be a private relay address).
• Quote and job information — details you enter to create a quote, such as the property address, job type, dimensions, finish level, notes, and customer/quote names.
• Photos and media — site photos you capture or select, and any company logo you upload. If you add voice notes, the recordings may be processed to help generate your quote.
• Subscription information — if you subscribe, your purchase and entitlement status. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full card details.
• Usage and technical data — limited information needed to operate the Service, such as quote counts (to apply free-tier limits) and standard technical data (e.g. IP address, device and app version) handled by our infrastructure providers.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Service — creating, saving, and sharing your quotes.
• To generate AI estimates — your job details and any photos are sent to our AI provider (see "Third parties" below) to produce a cost breakdown.
• To manage your account, subscription, and free-tier limits.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse.

Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and your consent where required (e.g. device permissions for camera and photos).

3. Third parties and processing

We share data only with service providers that help us run AskToddy:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (your account, quotes, and uploaded logo).
• Google (Gemini API) — your job details and site photos are sent for AI analysis to generate the quote. We do not use this data to train models on your behalf.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status using an app-generated user identifier.
• Apple — App Store distribution, in-app payments, and Sign in with Apple.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK/EEA (for example in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your data.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (in the app, under Account → Delete Account), we remove your account and associated data, including your quotes and uploaded logo, from our systems. Some records may be retained where required by law.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your data;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using appropriate measures.

8. Children

AskToddy is intended for professional and adult use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
